Amazingly stupid...........what's with this guy that wants to play ...then maybe not...then maybe but....I am sick of primadonnas!
I remember an intervew with Boom Boom Geoffrion. He told the reporter that they had to take trains to play outside Montréal, his wife made him sandwiches for the ride. These days, where playing for a specific team (in this case the wonderful Habs) meant something more than money in the bank. I am not ranting against salaries...hockey is a business that generates tons of money and the players should have their "fair" share. What I am saying is that playing meant something more, it meant a dream...something more than dollars and cents. Pride was the driver.....sigh!
